Youth Program

This program provides a gradual learning environment for an enjoyable introduction into ice hockey. Three levels allow the skater to be promoted once they have become proficient in each skill set.

  • Thirty minute group lessons each with with a certified instructor
  • Free admission and skate rental on lesson days

Intro to Hockey 1 | ages 4-12
$60 per Month - Unlimited Classes

This 30-minute class teaches the fundamentals of skating. The player will learn balance, edge control, ready position, forward stride, forward start, control turns, forward crossover, and control stop. Skates, helmet, gloves and stick provided.

Class Times:
Wednesday, 5:30-6:00pm
Thursday, 5:00-5:30pm
Saturday, 11:45-12:15pm

Intro to Hockey 2 |  ages 4-12
$60 per Month - Unlimited Classes

First half of class reinforces Intro to Hockey One and second half continues instruction in higher level skating skills, basic stick handling and shooting skills. Skates, helmet, gloves provided.

Class Times:
Thursday, 5:45-6:15pm
Saturday, 12:20-12:50pm

Intro to Hockey 3 | $129 - 8 Classes | ages 6-12

During this 60-minute session the player will be introduced to puck control, passing, shooting, stick handling, and team play. Class is divided into a 45 minute skill session and a 15 minute scrimmage. Full equipment required. Call (972)731-9600 for more information and class times.

Adult Hockey Leagues

2011-2012 Fall/Winter

Mite Hockey Season

Ages 6-8
Friday, 6:30-7:45pm and Saturday, 4:00-5:00pm

  • 24 Games (10 full ice, 14 half ice)
  • Home games Saturday 4:00pm-5:00pm
  • Away games may vary
  • 20 practices - Fridays 6:30-7:45
  • Players will receive team jerseys, team socks, free public skate admission and free skate sharpenings.
  • All players must have completed at least two semesters of Learn to Skate or have played a season of hockey.

Cost
Sign up by September 1st:
$600 for previous Stonebriar hockey players or LTS students. $625 for non Stonebriar hockey players or non LTS students.

Sign up September 2nd - September 17th:
$650 for previous Stonebriar players or students. $675 for non Stonebriar players and non Stonebriar students.

Sign up after September 17th
$700 for all players.

Squirt Hockey Season

We are now accepting mid-season Squirts at $375 for the remainder of the season.  Price includes jersey, socks and free public skate admission.

Ages 9-10
Fridays, 6:30-7:45pm and Saturdays, 5:15- 6:15pm

  • 20 Games
  • Home games Saturday 5:15pm-6:15pm
  • 20 practices - Fridays 6:30-7:45
  • Players will receive team jerseys, team socks, free public skate admission and free skate sharpenings.
